I create oil paintings to express my love of nature
and appreciation for contemplative settings.
It is my hope that those who view my artwork will sense the gratitude that I have for the beauty inherent in minute things
all around us.
I derive inspiration from the humble moss and the noble cypress.
I find meaning in the love of family
and pleasure in those things in everyday life that are so easily overlooked.
It is my belief that each human being is created in the image of God and therefore precious.
Life must not be taken for granted,
for it can be taken away very quickly.
For me, the time I have on this earth is my opportunity to reflect upon what is really important,
my chance to show love while I can
and to be a good steward of the gifts and resources
entrusted to me.
